Diamond Chasing

The diamond chasing process is often associated with mechanical & electrical installation where concealed conduits and pipe work are required. This can be in walls, floors, and ceilings of masonry or concrete structures.

Chasing is carried out using either a hand-held chasing machine or grinding equipment with a diamond blade attached. Two slots are cut at the required depth and then the centre of the channel is removed using a lightweight hand-held breaker. By attaching vacuum equipment, dust is controlled and contained making the process virtually dust free.
